Wonderful independant tea/coffee/breakfast/lunch place in the very center of Gloucester Went there two times in less than 24hr ! My scone with clotted cream & jam was delicious. My porridge was super tasty. Tea was perfect. Friendly vibes, lovely staff, great music... It feels warm and confy to see all the regular customers come and go here... I highly recommend !

Possibly one of the best cafe / light lunch spots that I've visited. The food was a real step up from the usual cafes and worth every penny. The staff were friendly and not scared to spend time, have a chat and that 'get to know each other a bit' without being smothering. My gorgeous wife had the quiche, which was apparently hand made. The pastry was beautifully crumbly and the flavour of the fillings amazing with a nice balance. I opted for soup and a sandwich, but what soup and what sandwich they were. Carrot and Coriander soup restored from years of mediocrity; the sandwich served up in nice brown bread it was both filling and delicious. Almost forgot the coffees, which I presume (for once I didn't ask) were roasted specially somewhere by someone suitably sympathetic to the beans. The young woman that served us had taken a nasty looking finger injury playing rugby. In true rugby style, she was soldiering on. I hope she gets well really soon. At the risk of sounding gammonesque (is that a word?), she was a walking lesson in politeness and work ethic many young people should aspire to.

Brian kindly arranged an afternoon tea for my mothers birthday, it was her first ever one and she was so excited with the surprise. When ordering they asked what sandwiches we prefer instead of a fixed selection, which we appreciated as my nan is quite fussy and what cakes and scone types to go with the hot drink or our choosing ..All the staff were welcoming and friendly and the place was cosy. Thank you for a memorable afternoon tea and thank you for saving the last teacake! Cheers!

This place is fantastic. On our first visit for breakfast, the staff(Luke and the owner) were kind. We had caramel lattes and a delicious breakfast. It was such a pleasant experience, we came every morning on our trip.

We stopped in here to have a bite to eat after a long day of driving. The food and service were exceptional. The two young staff members were attentive, friendly and extremely welcoming. Service was fast and product knowledge was brilliant. Once the food arrived it was really great too. Freshly made and full of flavour. The menu was extensive and lots of options for us. The whole meal was excellent value for money and I would highly recommend this little tea room to anyone passing by.

I stumbled on this place and liked the look of it. Had a nice scone and tea. Lovely, attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere, much better quality and prices than at the chains you find nearby.
